Why do you feel awkward?

I feel like a lot of us feel awkward and we don't even know why. A lot of us maybe think we're just weird and don't fit in. And that's true, we don't fit in, but not because we are weird, but because we are different. Different than what society wants us to be. The society we live in has a very strict norm, and if we're anything besides that, we are looked at as weird, which makes us feel awkward and it makes us feel excluded. I'm here to tell you that you should be happy to be excluded, because in the world that we live in, being different is the biggest blessing. It can be challenging, people may pick on you, you may not have many friends, you probably don't enjoy the activities that most people do, and that is more than okay. You are your own person, a free spirit. When you go through a spiritual awakening especially you stop resonating with a lot of people and activities. Even if you're not on a spiritual journey yet, you may notice you don't like being around a lot of people, because they make you feel "awkward". To me awkward just means different. And different is beautiful, it's vulnerable. Because it takes courage to embrace your true self and show it to the world, knowing you will receive a lot of judgment. When you embrace your "weird" self, other "weird" people will find you and resonate with you. From personal experiences, I notice that around certain people I feel more awkward than I normally would, and a good friend of mine said that it's because my soul is aware and awake. Everything around us is energy, including us, so when somebody's energy doesn't resonate with our soul, we feel awkward around them. If their energy is attached to some sort of darkness, that we may have experienced before, our soul will immediately reject them and warn us through that awkward feeling. Knowing you're different and embracing it can get lonely, but it is always better to be alone and at peace than around the wrong people that just disturb your soul, unintentionally. Remember that you are beautiful and special, and you don't have to fit in anybody's standards. Don't be afraid to walk away, better things and people will always find you. The right people will share your "weirdness" and love it. But most importantly, you have to love it first. This is for all my different people, I love y'all. Stay weird!
